We use Accelerated Reader (AR) software by Renaissance Learning to help students develop into better readers. An extra AR benefit is that when properly teamed with reading practice time, students become better test-takers in general. This becomes important when it is time to take high-stakes tests like the SAT and the ACT for college entrance and scholarships.
